Bethel Park continues to climb in latest HSFA Pennsylvania Top 25

Bethel Park is up seven spots this week to No. 17 in the latest High School Football America Pennsylvania Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football. The Black Hawks 27-14 win over previous undefeated Upper St. Clair puts them at the top of the AAAAA Allegheny Six Conference standings. USC drops three spots to No. 19.

Pine-Richland makes its first appearance this year in our statewide rankings after back-to-back big wins over ranked teams. The Rams are at No. 18 this week after Friday’s 35-13 win over former No. 18 Pittsburgh Central Catholic. The week before, P-R upset North Allegheny, ranked No. 4 in the state at game time.

This week’s feature game will be on Saturday in Harrisburg.

First place will be on-the-line in the Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division when No. 4 State College travels to No. 9 Harrisburg.

Out west there’s another big intra-Top 25 game — No. 14 Gateway will take-on No. 15 McKeesport.
