For the second week in a row, the Atlanta Falcons are honoring a girls’ flag football coach. This week’s winner is Lithia Springs head coach Kendra Pleasants. The Week 7 honoree also coaches girls’ basketball at the school.

On the gridiron, Pleasant led Lithia Springs to a state runner-up finish in 2021. The program is considered a title contender this season.

According to the Falcons via the award sponsor, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

“Coach Pleasants embodies the LSHS mission of ensuring high levels of learning for all students through Intentional Relationships, Immediate Relevancy, and Intense Rigor. Active in volunteer work, youth coaching in and around Douglas County.”
