The 18th annual Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown is expected to be one of the best ever.  This year’s event will feature 17 games over three weekends.  Highlighting the card will be three games between teams from Cincinnati and Indianapolis at newly-refurbished Nippert Stadium at the University of Cincinnati.

On August 28th, five-time Indiana champ Indianapolis Cathedral will face Archbishop Moeller.  Last season Moeller climbed as high as #23 in our national Top 25 rankings .  The Crusaders, who finished 10-4 last year, ended-up #10 in our final Non-Public Schools Top 25 after advancing to the Ohio Division 1 state semifinals.

On August 29th, defending Ohio Division 2 champ La Salle will play Indiana 6A runner-up Carmel.  La Salle, which returns a lot of talent in 2015, finished #20 in our 2014 national rankings.  Carmel climbed as high as #17 in our national rankings last season.  Both teams have new head coaches this season.

Below you can listen to our radio show recent interviews with new Carmel head coach John Hebert and new La Salle head coach Jim Hilvert.

Following the Carmel/La Salle game, fans will get to see Indiana-power Warren Central take-on Ohio’s Colerain, which could make a run at a spot in our national rankings in 2015.
