Another former NFL player is headed to the high school coaching ranks.
Niceville High School announced on Twitter that Terrence Brooks will be the team’s defensive backs coach. The Florida native was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft. During his career, he also played with the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, New England Patriots and Houston Texans.

Brooks played his high school football at Dunnellon. He made Florida’s 3A All-State Team as a defensive back after his senior season in 2009. Considered a 3-star college football prospect, he finished his junior season with six interceptions with 53 tackles. As a junior, he ran for over 500 yards before moving to wide receiver for his senior season.
Niceville has been a regular in the High School Football America national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Last year, the Eagles finished No. 295 in the HSFA 300.
