North Carolina’s Reidsville doesn’t look far to replace legendary high school football coach Jimmy Teague

Reidsville High School will be replacing one Teague with another. The school has announced that Erik Teague will be taking over for his father Jimmy as the new head coach of the Rams football program.

For the last 11-years, Erik has worked side-by-side with his father as Reidsville’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. In two different stints with Reidsville, Jimmy Teague won eight North Carolina high school football state championships. At Reidsville, Jimmy Teague won 339 games against only 58 losses. His overall record as a head coach 380-151.

Last year, the Carolina Panthers named Teague their High School Coach of the Year.
