Sunday will be a big day for high school quarterbacks in-and-around Jacksonville. The Jaguars will be hosting their 3rd annual High School QB Skills Challenge as part of the Jaguars PREP program.

Over 200 high school quarterbacks, who will be split into boys and girls divisions, will attend the one-of a kind event that is the brainchild of Adriel Rocha, who was recently promoted to the Jaguars’ Vice President of Community Impact and Football Development.

Last year’s event featured 100+ QB from across the state and featured Jags head coach Doug Pederson giving the student-athletes some words of wisdom.

Pederson came-out of the small town of Ferndale, Washington to play 13-years in the NFL. The three-sport athlete at Ferndale High School began his coaching career at Calvary Baptist Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.

During his four years at Calvary Baptist, the program reached the state semifinals four times.

High School Football America will be attending the event. Please follow us on Twitter (@HSFBamerica) and Instagram (@HighSchoolFootballAmerica) for updates throughout the day.
