Oakland moves-up a notch to the top spot after a 34-14 win over Independence last Friday. This week, the Patriots, who are also ranked No. 31 in our national rankings will take-on No. 34 Center Grove (Indiana) in a battle of defending three-time 6A state champs.

Oakland holds a very narrow lead on No. 2 Lipscomb Academy that started the season No. 1 in our statewide rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.
LA slips a spot after losing to national power IMG Academy 35-10. The Mustangs fell from No. 23 to No. 33 in our national rankings. This week, Lipscomb will face defending Alabama 6A champ Saraland, No. 83 in the HSFA 300.
Christ Presbyterian Academy (CPA) moves up three spots to No. 7 this week after edging No. 8 Brentwood Academy 17-16. CPA trailed 16-3 at the half.
This week, CPA will play Top 10 newcomer Pearl-Cohn, which breaks into the state rankings at No. 10 after the Firebirds beat preseason No. 7 Montgomery Bell Academy 21-14.
Like Oakland, No. 3 McCallie will take on a tough out-of-state opponent. The Blue Toronado will host Georgia’s Woodward Academy, ranked No. 273 in America. McCallie is No. 56 in the HSFA 300 national rankings.
