Week 1 of the 2023 Florida high school football regular season delivered a lot of surprise outcomes. That means there are lots of changes in the first in-season High School Football America Florida Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

The top three teams held their spots, but Chaminade-Madonna moves from No. 5 to No. 4 after beating national-power St. Frances Academy from Maryland on national television. This week, the Lions will battle No. 7 Cardinal Gibbons in a battle of defending state champs.

No. 3 Miami Central opens the regular season with a big national battle. The Rockets, ranked No. 9 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, travels to Las Vegas to take-on No. 3 Bishop Gorman.
