Two more teams punch their tickets to National Select 7 on 7

Fayetteville High in Arkansas has become the third school to win a National Select 7 on 7 qualifier.   Last year’s Arkansas 7A runner-up beat Derby High School from Kansas in the Kansas regional qualifier over the weekend.

Fayetteville’s win moves the Bulldogs into the field of 32 for the national championship that will be held July 16-18th at Hoover High School in Alabama.

Last Friday, Landry-Walker HS punched its ticket to Alabama with a 12-11 win over John Ehret in an all-Louisiana championship game in the Louisiana regional.

Earlier this month, North Gwinnett from Georgia qualified by beating Byrnes from South Carolina in the North Gwinnett qualifier.

There are still nine more regional qualifiers — Illinois (June 25-26), South Carolina (June 25-26), Mid South – Tennessee (July 8-9), Mississippi (July 9), Alabama (July 10), Gulf Coast – Alabama (July 10),  Georgia (July 10-11), Northeast – Connecticut (July 10-11), Colorado (July 11)
