Cardinal Hayes sits at No. 3 in the latest High School Football America New York Top 10 high school football rankings after beating former No. 2 Archbishop Stepinac 33-28.  The Cardinals’ defense stopped Stepinac twice inside the 10-yard line in the final five minutes of the game. The Crusaders fall to No. 4.

Preseason No. 1 Iona Prep is up to No. 2 this week. Next up for the Gaels is Stepinac this Saturday.
