Despite several losses inside the Top 10, there are no changes in the latest High School Football America Maryland Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

The most notable loss was St. Frances Academy’s 37-13 defeat at the handing of St. John Bosco, the No. 1 team in our national rankings. The Panthers are now 0-4 against one of the most difficult schedules in the nation.

No. 4 Archbishop Spalding, which climbed to No. 64 in our national rankings, was beaten by Pennsylvania-power Imhotep Charter 21-17. The Panthers entered the game ranked No. 213 in the HSfA 300.

No. 6 Rock Creek Christian lost to a nationally-ranked interstate opponent. The Eagles lost 23-12 to Lowndes (Georgia), ranked No. 297 nationally.

This week, top-ranked Good Counsel travels to No. 5 Mount St. Joseph and No. 4 Spalding plays No. 8 McDonogh.
