The Washington Commanders have named Page County’s James May as their Week 3 High School Coach of the Week.

About Commanders HS Coach of the Week Award

The High School Coach of the Week program is a league-wide initiative designed to recognize area high school football coaches who continuously demonstrate hard work and dedication to their football programs, the health and safety of their players, and who make a difference in their communities. Each coach chosen throughout the high school football season will receive a $1,000 donation from the Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation to their football program.

Please remember your Nominee must meet the below requirements: 

1. Must be a high school football head coach in the District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Virginia, Prince George’s County, or Montgomery County

2. Nominee must not have won the Washington Commanders High School Coach of the Week award in the previous three (3) years
