Unranked Allen’s 31-7 upset of No. 14 McKinney shakes up the bottom part of the latest High School Football America Texas Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. McKinney drops out of the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm and allows the every team behind them to move up one spot.

While Allen doesn’t crack the rankings this week, the Eagles will have another chance to climb this week when they play No. 12 Denton Guyer. Allen is currently tied at the top of District 5-6A with Prosper. Both teams are 4-0 in district play, followed by Guyer and McKinney with 3-1 records.

Lewisville returns to the rankings this week at No. 25.

There’s one Top 25 head-to-head this week. It’s in District 26-6A between No. 11 Lake Travis and No. 18 Dripping Springs.
