Lake Travis and Coppell picked up big first round playoff wins over ranked teams to shuffle the latest High School Football America Texas Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Lake Travis moves four spots this week to No. 11 after edging 2022 runner-up Vandegrift 13-10. The Cavaliers won its on the last drive of the game on a 23-yard field goal by Braydon Doane. 

Next up for the Cavaliers will be San Antonio’s Johnson High in Round 2 of the Class 6A Division I playoffs. Vandegrift, which moved up from 6A-II to 6A-I this year, fell six spots to No. 13.

Coppell moves from No. 24 to No. 19 after a 35-21 win over Denton Guyer in the 6A Division II first round. The loss drops the Wildcats from No. 19 to No. 21.
