Christ Church got out to an early lead and never looked back in rolling to the South Carolina 1A high school football championship Friday at South Carolina State University. Tucker Hendrix threw five touchdowns for the Cavaliers in their 67-21 win over Johnsonville for the school’s second straight state title.
