The 2023 Minnesota high school football championships at U.S. Bank Stadium came to a close Saturday night with Chanhassen winning its first-ever football championship. The Storm beat St. Thomas Academy 34-31 in overtime to capture the state’t AAAAA title.

After STA took a 31-28 lead on the first possession of overtime, Storm QB Brayden Windschitl tossed the game-winning score to Kade Bush.
