Centennial is celebrating its first-ever Minnesota high school football championship. Friday night, the Cougars beat Edina 28-27 at U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, to capture the Class AAAAAA state title.
Centennial picked-up the victory after it stopped Edina running back Chase Bjorgaard on a two-point conversion attempt with 16 seconds remaining.
