The High School Football America Academic All-America Team is back for its 5th year. Nominations are now open for student-athletes who played varsity football during the 2024 season.
Since 2020, HSFA and scoutSMART have honored over 15,000 players for their academic excellence.
Our Academic All-America team is powered by scoutSMART, which uses its proprietary system that gives high school football student-athletes a scoutSMART FIT Score that analyzes a players’ stats, on-field skills and academics. scoutSMART then provides the information to college football coaches, at all-levels, around the nation.

Coaches, the process is easy. Email us your player/players, who meet following qualifications:
- A contributing member of a varsity football program during the 2024 season
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale or a 92 on a scale of 0-100.
Like last year, this year, a student-athlete and/or their parent(s) can nominate themselves or their children. In order to nominate yourself or your child, please go to scoutSMART to fill-out a profile for FREE or you can use the HSFA form.

Nominations can also be emailed to High School Football America. If your student-athlete qualifies, make sure you provide the following in your email:
- Student’s Name
- High School
- Position
- Class
- GPA
- Test Scores: ACT/SAT (if available)
- A short description of their contribution on-and-off the field
