AHSAA logoAlabama will kick-off the 2015 in grand-style with a showdown between defending 4A and 3A champs.

4A champ Leeds High School will face 3A champ Madison Academy in the opening game of the 10th annual Champions Challenge at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery on August 21st.  Last year, these two opened the season on ESPNU with Leeds winning 27-24.  In 2013, the two met for the 3A title with Madison Academy winning the title 31-14.

Both teams return a lot of talent in 2015.  Leeds will be led by quarterback Tadarryl Marshall, who has received an offer from Alabama, and running back Tre’ Nation. Madison Academy will feature running back Malik Miller and lineman Austin Troxell — both hold offers from Alabama and Auburn.

Also on the Champions Challenge card is Bob Jones taking-on Carver-Montgomery and Glencoe facing Gordo.
