Alabama high school football championships to stay at Auburn in 2019

A $75 million renovation project at the University of Alabama’s Bryant-Denny Stadium after the upcoming season means that the 2019 Alabama high school football championships will be played at Auburn University for the second straight year. Alabama and Auburn have been alternating as hosts since 2009.

Alabama will host the state championships in 2020 and 2021 and then the Super 7 championships will return to alternating every other year.

The 2019 Super 7 is set for December 4-6.
