Lee-Scott beat Glenwood 35-21 to capture the AISA Class AAA high school football championship Thursday at the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery. It was the school’s first state title since 1994.

L-S finishes the season with a perfect 12-0 record.

Patrician Academy used a strong ground game in a 60-0 rout of Clarke Prep for the AA title. The Saints amassed 533 of their 661 yards in total offense on the ground.

Lowndes Academy won its second straight Class A title with a 24-8 win over Jackson Prep. Junior quarterback Clayton Hussey had his hand in three touchdowns, rushing for 117 yards and passing for 115.

The first-ever 8-man championship goes to Evangel Christian. EC, which started the season 1-5, beat Springwood 38-28. The Lions finish the season on a five-game win streak to finish 6-5.
