After its big win against Central (Phenix City) a week ago, Opelika closed-out the regular season with a 44-35 region loss to Carver Montgomery. The loss drops the Bulldogs from No. 3 to No. 7 in the latest High School Football America Alabama Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The win brings Carver back into the statewide rankings at No. 10.
