Central (Phenix City) solidified its position atop the High School Football America Alabama Top 10. The Red Devils closed out the regular season with a 24-7 victory over Auburn. After a bye week, Central will face Davidson in the opening round of the Class 7A playoffs.
Auburn drops two spots to No. 10, while Hartselle and McGill-Toolen each move up a spot to No. 8 and No. 9 respectively.
No. 2 Hoover will close out the regular season against IMG Academy from Florida. IMG is ranked No. 5 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings, while the Bucs are No. 62.
