The curtain fell on the regular season this weekend and the playoffs begin this weekend.
East finishes the regular season with the No. 1 ranking in the High School Football America Alaska Top 5, followed by Bartlett at No. 2, Soldotna at No. 3, Colony at No. 4 and West returns to the state rankings at No. 5. West opened the season by beating six-time defending state champ Soldotna, which snapped the Stars 59-game win streak.
