Anacortes sets scoring record to win 2A Washington high school football championship

Anacortes wins the Washington 2a high school football championship.

Anacortes, a school that didn’t field a varsity high school football team in 2019, set a 2A scoring record Saturday on the way to a state championship. The Seahawks’ 60 points in their 60-30 win over top-seeded Tumwater was the most ever scored in a 2A title game.

The victory capped a perfect 13-0 season for Anacortes. The state title is the first-ever for the school.
