Andover makes its first-ever appearance in the High School Football America Massachusetts Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Golden Warriors sit at No. 5 after their 30-29 win over former No. 5 Central Catholic.
It was the first time since 2012 that Andover beat CC in the series that began in 1972.
The loss slips Central to No. 6.
Defending Division 3 state champ Marblehead drops out of the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. The Magicians lost to Peabody Veterans Memorial 40-7. The Tanners were led by Shawn Lynch’s four touchdown passes.
