Another week of big movement in the HSFA South Carolina Top 10

The only thing certain about the start of the 2023 high school football season is nothing is certain. The third week of the season results in another big shuffle inside the High School Football America South Carolina Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football.

No. 1 South Florence and No. 2 Northwestern hold their spots, but after that, there’s lots of movement with Gaffney jumping from No. 9 to No. 3 after handing South Pointe its first loss of the season.

Gaffney will take-on North Carolina-power Mallard Creek this week. MC is No. 108 in the HSFA 300 national rankings. The Indians are currently No. 211 in America.

South Pointe (No. 4) and Spartanburg (No. 5) holds their positions, but Fort Dorchester tumbles from No. 3 to No. 6 after a 41-0 blowout loss to Georgia-power Grayson. This week, Spartanburg will take-on Grayson.
