Bedford captures New Hampshire Division I state football title

Bedford shutout Exeter 7-0 Saturday to win New Hampshire’s Division I state football championship.  Connor Robert threw a TD pass to Noah Chaberek on the opening drive of the third quarter for the game-winning score.

The state title is the first-ever for Bedford, finishing 12-0.  It was the second straight year that Exeter finished runner-up in Division I.
