There’s a new No. 1 in the High School Football America Nebraska Top 5 after No. 2 Bellevue West topped No. 1 Millard West 37-30 to advance to the state’s Class A state championship game next week. The Thunderbirds will play Omaha for the state title.
In the Class B championship, it will be a showdown between No. 3 Skutt Catholic and No. 4 Scottsbluff. both teams enter the game at the University of Nebraska’s Memorial Stadium with 12-0 records.
