Russ Mann is the new head football coach at Ben Davis High School. He takes-over for Jason Simmons, who left for a college football job at Miami of Ohio last month.

The school elevated Mann, who last season was the Giants secondary coach. Prior to Ben Davis, Mann also served as an assistant at North Central, Lawrence Central and Warren Central.

Ben Davis, which owns nine Indiana high school football state championships, finished last season just outside of the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
