After two impressive out-of-state wins, Bergen Catholic is the No. 1 team in the High School Football America New Jersey Top 25 powered by NFL Play Football. Not only are the Crusaders the top team in the Garden State, but they are No. 12 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings.

No. 3 St. Joseph Regional (Montvale) and No. 6 DePaul Catholic headline this week’s Top 25 with their head-to-head battle on Saturday. However, right behind that matchup will be the showdown between No. 4 Don Bosco Prep and No. 7 Seton Hall Prep.
There are four big public vs. non-public matchups this week — No. 9 Cherokee plays No. 16 St. Joseph (Hammonton), No. 10 Rumson-Fair Haven will try to show last week’s 35-0 shutout of No. 23 Wall Township was no fluke when it plays No. 12 Donovan Catholic, No. 11 St. Augustine will square-off with No. 18 Williamstown and Wall Township will try to get into the win column when it plays No. 13 Red Bank Catholic.
