As a proud Pennsylvanian, I always look forward to writing about the Big 33‘s Super Bowl streak.

As I mentioned two weeks ago before the conference championship games, Super Bowl XLIX would feature a Big 33 alum for the 49th straight game.  Yes, there’s never been a Super Bowl without a player from what I consider America’s best all-star football game that is played annually in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The streak started in Super I with the Green Bay Packers Herb Adderley representing Northeast High School in Philadelphia.  The streak continues today with three players – New England‘s Darrelle Revis (Aliquippa HS, Pennsylvania) and Seattle‘s Garry Gilliam (Milton Hershey HS, Pennsylvania) and Jordan Hill (Steelton-Highspire HS, Pennsylvania).
