Bingham, which is sitting just outside of the High School Football America Top 25, captured its fifth Utah big school championship with a 20-3 win over American Fork in the 5A state title game.

Bingham running back Cameron Smith shouldered a lot of the Miner offense with 37 carries for 191 yards rushing and two touchdowns, according to the Deseret News.

Bingham’s only loss this season was to nationally-ranked Bishop Gorman of Nevada in overtime.
