As we stated at the end of September, the 2016 “mythical” national championship chase was put to bed early this year.  Bishop Gorman vaulted to the top spot in the High School Football America 50, powered by Krossover on September 9th when it beat then #1 St. John Bosco (California) with an impressive second half comeback, and the Gaels never looked back.

Bishop Gorman – St. John Bosco highlights

Bishop Gorman, who beat three state champs this season — #2 St. John Bosco, #6 St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida) and #26 Cocoa (Florida) — is the 2016 High School Football America national champ.

Finishing a close second in our National Top 50, which is created with our proprietary algorithm, is St. John Bosco, which finished the season with an impressive run to capture California’s Open Division championship.
