Bishop Gorman to play for 8th straight Nevada state title

Bishop Gorman beat Arbor View 56-17 Saturday to advance to its eight straight state championship game.  The Gaels will play Liberty for the state championship in Class 4A next week.

Gorman actually trailed 10-7 in the second quarter, but the Gaels reeled-off 35 unanswered points to win their 53rd straight overall game.

Liberty beat Damonte Ranch 30-27 to advance to the state championship game.  Last year, Gorman beat Liberty 62-21 in the state title game
