Bishop McDevitt climbs to No. 2 in HSFA Pennsylvania Top 25

Reigning 4A champ Bishop McDevitt sits at No. 2 after one week in the High School Football America Pennsylvania Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by N FL Play Football. The Crusaders jump from No. 6 after beating Maryland’s Mount St. Joseph, which entered the game ranked No. 236 in the HSFA 300 national rankings.

The win elevated McDevitt from No. 300 to No. 236 in Top 300. The Crusaders will get a chance to improve even more this week when they play New Jersey’s DePaul Catholic, ranked No. 164 nationally.

Central Bucks West is up two spots to No. 12 after taking-down preseason No. 12 Garnet Valley 17-13. The Jaguars fall to No. 13.

St. Joseph’s Prep came close to beating IMG (Florida). Despite the 17-14 loss, the Hawks remain No. 1 in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. This week, SJP, ranked No. 11 nationally, will play New Jersey’s St. Peter’s Prep, No. 156 in the Top 300.
