The Louisiana High School Athletic Association denied Brother Martin’s appeal of the LHSAA’s five game forfeit sanction for using an ineligible player. That sends the former No. 2 team in the High School Football America Louisiana Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Crusaders also tumble out of the Top 100 where they were No. 56.
Brother Martin now heads into the Division I postseason with a 3-5 record. In the first round they face Archbishop Rummel in the first round.
As far as the final regular season Top 10, Edna Karr finishes as the top team in the state.
New to the ranking this week are C.E. Byrd at No. 9 and Neville at No. 10.
