Bryant continues as Arkansas’ top high school football team after opening the regular season with a 48-7 victory over No. 6 Benton in Salt Bowl XXI. The two-time defending 7A state champs have now won 18 in a row and lead the Salt Bowl 18-1-2.

The game, which normally draws 30,000-plus to Arkansas’ War Memorial Stadium, had a much smaller than usual crowd of 12,000 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
