Burr & Burton is the first-ever Vermont high school football team to win back-to-back titles in two different divisions. B&B beat St. Johnsbury Academy 47-20 Saturday to win the state’s Division I title, one year after winning the Division II championship.

SJA entered the game ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Vermont Top 5, while Burr & Burton was No. 2. The win avenged a 50-38 loss to SJA during the regular season.
