When teams within the High School Football America National Top 25 perform the way our proprietary algorithm calculates they will, you can imagine there aren’t many changes in this week’s rankings.

Only two ranked teams — #20 Bergen Catholic (New Jersey) and #22 Pittsburg Central Catholic (Pennsylvania) — lost this past weekend.  And, BC’s loss was a thrilling 59-47 shootout against #16 IMG Academy (Florida).

All of the shuffling is at the bottom of the poll where Bergen Catholic, which hits the road to Ohio this weekend to play #21 St. Edward, falls to #24.  Both St. Ed and America Heritage (Plantation, Florida) jumped three spots.  Male (Kentucky), which has outscored its opponents 255-26 climbs one spot to #20.

The only new entrant is Byrnes from South Carolina, which was ranked #30 in last week’s The Other 25, at #25.  In two weeks, the Rebels, who earlier this year beat preseason #7 Mallard Creek (North Carolina), will face #23 Spartanburg.

Speaking of The Other 25, we release teams #26 through #50 Monday morning.  Also on Monday, we release our regional rankings.  Our media compilation poll is released on Wednesday.
