It didn’t take Calabasas long to find a replacement for departed head coach Casey Clausen. Hours after Clausen took the head job at Alemany, the Coyotes hired former USC and NFL linebacker Chris Claiborne.

Claiborne was Clausen’s defensive coordinator from 2014-15. The last two years, Claiborne has been the DC at Long Beach Poly over the last two years.
Claiborne was a 1999 NFL first-round draft pick who played eight years with the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and St. Louis Rams.
