The playoffs are right around the corner. Heading into the final week of the regular season, Mater Dei and St. John Bosco remain No. 1 and No. 2 in the High School Football America California Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football. That’s the exact some position where they began the season.

Both teams beat Top 25 teams last week — Mater Dei beat No. 12 Santa Margarita 52-7; Bosco beat No. 11 Orange Lutheran 48-7.

Chaminade falls six spots this week to No. 19 after being beaten by No. 16 Serra (Gardena), which moves-up one spot to No. 15. It was the first loss of the season for the Eagles.

New to the Top 25 this week is Oak Hills at No. 25.
