California Top 25 high school football rankings - Week 6

The next five weeks are going to be big ones in the High School Football America California Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. Trinity League play opens this weekend with its six teams in the top nine spots in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.

Trinity League Week 1 Schedule

No. 1 Mater Dei at No. 8 Santa Margarita, Friday
No. 3 Orange Lutheran at No. 2 St. John Bosco, Friday
No. 9 Servite at No. 6 JSerra

The middle of this week’s rankings get shuffled after Serra (Gardena) routed former No. 13 Los Alamitos 42-7. That moves the Cavaliers up three spots to No. 15. Los Al tumbles four spots to No. 17. The Griffins will try to get back into the win column this week when it travels to San Diego to play No. 12 Lincoln.

St. Ignantius College Prep makes its first-ever appearance in the Cali Top 25. The Wildcats break in at No. 22 after edging Serra (San Mateo) 21-20.
