CAM High School in Anita is celebrating its first-ever Iowa high school football championship. The Cougars battled back from a 21-6 first half deficit to beat Easton Valley 42-40 for the state’s 8-Player title.
Quarterback Lane Spieker led the way with 465 yards of total offense. He ran for three touchdowns and passed for two more.

CAM finishes the season with a perfect 13-0 record. Easton Valley finishes with a 12-1 mark.
