Camp Point Central wins first Illinois high school football state championship

Camp Point Central beat defending state champ Lena-Winslow 14-0 to win the 1A championship Friday at Illinois State University in Normal. The avenged last year’s defeat to Lena-Winslow in the title game. It is the first state championship in the school’s history for any sport.
