Make it two in a row for Cardinal Ritter. The Lions beat Republic 38-25 Friday night to capture Missouri’s Class 5 championship, the school’s second straight high school football state title. The state championship comes two classes up from the Class 3 title Ritter won in 2022.

Jamarion Parker had two rushing touchdowns and Dejarrian Miller caught a pair of touchdown passes in the team’s 28th straight victory.

Cardinal Ritter entered the game just outside of the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.
