Carl Albert wins 5th straight Oklahoma high school football state championship

Carl Albert quarterback Ben Harris will go down as one of the best high school football QB’s in the Sooner State. Harris completed 17-of-21 passes for 195 yards and a touchdown and he for 80 yards on 18 carries and a score in the Titans’ 33-21 win over Bishop McGuiness in the 5A championship game.

The state title is the fifth straight of Carl Albert.

Harris closes-out his scholastic career with 93 touchdown passes and ran for six more. He totaled 9,440 passing yards and 1,086 rushing yards.
