It wasn’t the smoothest of weeks in the High School Football America Arizona Top 10. Hamilton, Highland, Queen Creek and Chaparral all lost last week, but only former No. 9 Chaparral falls out of the statewide rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Chaparral’s 49-27 loss to No. 6 Williams Field allows Casteel to move into the Top 10 at No. 9. This week, the Colts will travel to Williams Field.

Hamilton lost to Nevada and national power Bishop Gorman 45-0. The loss drops the Huskies from No. 3 to No. 4 this week.

No. 2 Saguaro had a tough fight with No. 7 Queen Creek before winning 13-8.

No. 5 Highland was shutout by defending Utah 6A champ Lone Peak.

Basha is up to No. 3 this week. The Bears will try to get off to a 3-0 start this week when they play No. 10 Salpointe Catholic.
