Center Grove is off-and-rolling in its defense of its 2020 6A state title. The Trojans opened the season with a solid 38-14 win over Warren Central.

Falling-in behind Center Grove is defending 5A champ Cathedral at No. 2. The Fighting Irish, who will close-out the regular season against Center Grove, opened with a 14-0 shutout of No. 4 Westfield. This week, Cathedral will square-off with No. 5 Brownsburg.

Carmel climbed in our national rankings after knocking-off preseason No. 15 Trinity (Kentucky). The Greyhounds move from No. 154 to No. 72 this week.

This week, Carmel will play its second straight nationally-ranked team when it hosts Detroit’s Martin Lutheran King. MLK, which will be playing its season opener, is ranked No. 175.
