“Chappy” Moore retires after 34 years at Notre Dame

Notre Dame Irish footballAfter 298 wins, Charles “Chappy” Moore has retired after 34 years as the head coach at Notre Dame High School.

NJ.com reports that Notre Dame principal Mary Liz Irvins saluted Moore in a press release, “”Chappy Moore not only won games; he built character.”

Moore is a member of the New Jersey Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
